• Born at the village of Nchichane under Mamabolo,Bjatladi Traditional Authority.
• Received Primary education at the Dikwata Primary School
• Completed matric at Zoetfontein High School,ga Thaba, ga Molepo
• Obtained a teachers diploma at Mokopane College of Education
• Worked as a teacher between 1998- 2003 at Mapela,Kanana (Moletji) and Lebowakgomo
• Joined the ANC Party caucus in June 2003
• 2006 September became attached to sport,Arts and Culture as Communication Manager
• Appointed Premier's special adviser in March 2009
• Sworn in as ANC MPL and subsequently appointed MEC for Local Government and Housing on May 06,2009

• Started in student activism in 1989.Later joined the ANCYL,ANC AND SACP after unbanning.
• Led the branch of the ANC at Nchichane Village before 1994.
• Became secretary and then President of the SRC in Mokopane between 1994 and 1996
• Eleceted chairperson of Mochocho Hlatswayo branch between 2004-2005
• April 2007- re-elected to the position of YCL Provincial secretary
• March 2008 re-elected to ANCYL PEC
• July 2008 elected to the ANC PEC
• August 2008 elected to SACP Provincial Secretary
• Married with two kids
• Currently studying at UNISA
